Race Course 

The race starts at 9 AM and is a 6-mile sprint in calm waters on the Thunder Bay River. Kayakers launch into the river at Sytek Park and then paddle downstream toward the Alpena County Fairgrounds. Racers circle Island Park, paddle upstream, and pass under the bridge to the finish.

$40 for 10x10 spots

• 0-15 lbs: 12:00 PM
• 16-30 lbs: 1:00 PM
• 31-45 lbs: 2:00 PM
• 46-60 lbs: 3:00 PM
• 61+ lbs: 4:00 PM
