Our commitment to financial education begins with our members. Northland Area Federal Credit Union is honored to recognize those who plan, study, and sacrifice to earn college degrees.

Each year, Northland awards Jerry Erickson Education Scholarships to exceptional or meritable student members who are in pursuit of higher education.

Winning applications are decided with equal emphasis on academic achievement, community service/involvement, and essay content.

Our educational scholarship program is named in honor of the late Jerry Erickson, who served as an esteemed volunteer at Northland for 46 years. We are indebted to his knowledge, vision, and commitment, which propelled us to where we are today. Education was important to Jerry, and through his legacy, we strive to help our student members reach their academic goals.
